Your Eyes Tell a Story...and Look it's a BABY...

I've been super busy between work, family, and fun... luckily (not), there is a snowstorm right now so I FINALLY have some time to blog...
For Valentine's Day I toasted to all the single ladies with these can koozy's Janna made us- they said ridiculously cocky movie quotes... (think- "I'm sorry good looking people like us make you feel bad about yourself")... just thought I would share since they are SOOO cute and only 2 made it home :)Last week I was in Des Moines for work, as boring as a trip to Iowa may sound it was a TON of fun. Our hotel was super nice and since the weather was in the 70s- we weren't too nervous about the indoor/outdoor pool at our hotel (the pool went outside if you swam under the wall).... I also tried Joe's Crab Shack for the first time. The work stuff was good too- but I won't bore you with that, for a filler I will say, "My ninja report was a success"
On the way home I got dropped off to see Janna and we explored the features of her new Apple laptop... We learned we could ride rollercoasters or swim the fishes... (for all 26 of these ridiculous shots [including use of the face dent feature] see Facebook)...When we were through with that we went to Uptown and stayed with Matt where he was housesitting... if only I had pictures of this home (imagine eclectic art as collected by a 42 year old gay former model turned drag queen)... As usual Matt makes me smile and I loved spending time with him- although, I don't think he is fit for dog sitting (most people don't yell to a dog "Clip your toe nails!!!") Janna and I did stop into Drink and Williams- for old time sake...Saturday it was off to watch the Bulldogs (Libby) vs. Wisconsin for the WCHA playoffs (they lost- BOO)... I don't have much to say about this next picture but the plan was a beer before the game- but when you meet up with Badger fans shots may be served... All I know is TK if my eyes told a story your son wrote it... FINALLY the time came for me to actually visit Annie at her stomping grounds... me loves this shot- definetly going up in the office (if I ever get pictures)....Janna and I danced with the worst dancer in the metro area....And of course....we brought shocker back (although I'm pretty sure for Annie it's never left)...Sunday I was so excited to hear Ashley was in labor- and after an unplanned C-section at 12:07 am on Monday (Kenzie won the pool)- Anna Marie was here, she's 7 pounds 12 oz and 22 in. Mom and Baby are both doing good- and Daddy sure is proud :) After work on Monday I rushed over to see her... Isn't she beautiful??? When everyone had left for the night- I stayed so Ashley, David, and I could hang out like usual, except their baby was sleeping on me.... and David was really nice to me...

Aren't you so in love with her? I am, I don't want to leave when we go visit. They are lucky they don't have a couch or else they would have an uninvited guest for alllonnnggg time. I can't wait until they come home tomorrow.
