This weekend was a relaxing one... for once :)
Exciting things that happened:

- FINALLY saw Libby score a goal
- Got insight to my Dad's college career with his guided tour of BSU
- Embers in Grand Rapids with my Grandma and Daddio
- Hung out with TayTay while she babysat
- Voted in Chili Cook Off at church- listened to my Dad explain why white chili shouldn't be allowed to enter since it's not "real chili" and explain why he thinks a chili should be disqualified for including corn since it doesn't belong... lol (if you know my Dad you get the picture)
- Ashley's Baby shower- got writers cramp from writing all the awesome gifts she got...THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME... (PS There's still time to get in the baby pool- let me know)
- Watched the Grammy's and talked myself into believe the Chris Brown/Rihanna stories were just rumors
Monday morning I prayed for no ice on my drive to work from the Bay. Put in a few hours only to get sent home at 2- got groceries and was ready to lounge. Woke up this morning partially praying work would still be cancelled, partially praying it wouldn't be since there was SOOO much to be done.. this week is going to fly by and then Friday JANNA IS COMING... anticipate an exciting post after that :)

1. I hate seeing someone I know everywhere I go
2. I am a licensed insurance agent
3. I still have dreams about a high school crush
4. I park at the DECC 5 days a week
5. I have never been to a strip club
6. I used to sell breast pumps- among other things
7. I have a small obsession with Lucille Ball
8. I played on 5 softball teams in one week last summer
9. I love hanging out with my Dad
10. I have gone to a UMD game alone
11. I own all 5 of the Carmen Electra Striptease workout DVDs
12. I put my car in the ditch on 35 by Barnum
13. I still see the doctor that delivered me
14. I have so many motherly characteristics it scares me
15. I was president of the eBusiness club at SCSU
16. I think Stepbrothers was only funny the first 2 times
17. I want to do stand-up comedy someday
18. I don't watch the bad auditions of AI- they annoy me
19. I need to have a housekeeper someday
20. I like church but can't wake up in time
21. I don't cry in real life, but I do watching The Biggest Loser
22. I have overcome an addiction to Starbucks

All Supermodels Have Long Hair... (the myths our mothers tell us)
For those of you that know my sister Libby and haven't Facebook stalked her yet- she has chopped/thinned her hair to a length style I have never seen on her... This picture is her doing her imitation of what she thinks my Mom's reaction will be, the quote "Libby where's your hair?" comes to mind.
Growing up my Grandma and Mom (like Mother like daughter) instilled in us girls that only long hair was sexy. Some quotes that come to mind are: "Do you know any supermodels with short hair?" and "Look at Nikki Taylor, she's gorgeous and has long hair..." (I think there was also a plug as to why our moles were beautiful there too)... In my Mom's perfect world all of us girls would have made our looks similar to that of Taylor on the Bold and the Beautiful- this folks, is how my sister Taylor got her name....
Well Mom, even Taylor rocks the short hair now...

In fact, she was glad Libby did it since it was something she had been wanting for a while... SHOCKED? I was... I'm also wondering which of us girls are going to keep my Mom's opinions alive for our children- I can just hear Libby telling her daughters "Don't pluck your eyebrows so thin." and "Keep your hair long and dark...it looks ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING..."

Speaking of weird, Taylor can make me laugh at the drop of the dime because she is so crazy... her friend Shay and her went to their winter dance on Friday and the stories I hear of their dance moves make me laugh... these pictures do too, I was never this funny at her age! I can't believe how beautiful they look (even when they are being weird-os)...
