Janna is home sick today and I don't believe her- I am posting her security picture from work as punishment.

Sad Day

Channing Tatum is engaged :( He's marrying that girl from Step It Up- now I will definitely be single the rest of my life.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Haupert

Ginny and Tony's wedding was on Saturday- it was one of the prettiest weddings I have ever been to. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous- this picture was not planned, I told her to turn around and she gave me her signature pose- absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Here's all the bridesmaids- Ginny is the best we got to pick our own dresses...
Here's me and the bride...
And me with the best man- I hadn't seen Jake since college...
Nikki did our hair- I absolutely love how she pulled mine together. I have a lot of hair so it's quite the task...
Ginny and my old roommate Krista came- she got married last weekend so I was really glad she was able to make it- it's been way too long!
Tony's Mom is Hawaiian and she did a traditional wedding dance for them- it was seriously beautiful and such a cool touch to the wedding...
This picture is absolutely perfect- these two are so adorable and sooo in LOVE...
Bridget works with Ginny and I have been blessed to be able to spend time with her when I visit the cities- she is an amazing person, lots of fun, and we certainly made some great memories this weekend- here's a quote, "Ugh- I hate when I puke it's like another reminder that I shouldn't have spent that last $20" hahaha love it girl!
Nancy and me are the crazy girls from the wedding party- all weekend we were betting who would be the "drunk bridesmaid," luckily neither of us were :)
We gathered all the girls from the Bachelorette party to take a picture with Captain (aka Stacy's Dad)...
After he bought us a shot- oh geez!
After the wedding we went to Fatboy's... Ginny always meets the band (did you know she's on Hairball's top friends on Myspace??)...
I met a guy- obviously, he told me he had a kid so I knew he was the one (I LOVE DADs) I told him I was cold, took his Twin's shirt, invited him to our hotel, Tony told him no- he didn't come (thank god!) and we drove away (I was still wearing his Twin's shirt- is it weird if I give it to my Dad???) When we FINALLY got back to the hotel (our shuttle got lost)- Jackie and I made friends with the front desk worker, he told us it was a 7 minute walk to the SA; so Nancy came with and we went for food.
Do you like my outfit?
After picking up pizza rolls, nachos, and Dt. Mt. Dew we headed back to the hotel- BTW it was more like a 15 minute walk; although I'm pretty sure we weren't walking in a straight line :) Our front desk friend, let's call him Dillon, had the pool doors unlocked and ready for us- we sat in the hot tub for a bit, but it wasn't very hot- so we swam laps in the pool...

The weekend was SUPER fun and I definitely spent and drank more than planned- but it was well worth it. I am SOOO happy for Ginny and Tony. Congratulations you two I LOVE YOU BOTH!

Now it's back to work until Wednesday then off to BC to see Megan- I can't wait!

UGH- Physical Pain

Last night was Ginny's rehearsal, it went pretty well no major mistakes on my part- let's hope that's the case tomorrow at the actual event. Here's a pic of the girls: After the rehearsal we went to a bar/restaurant for the dinner- then at 9 it was ladies night, all you can drink from 9-11 free. Well let's just say vodka 7up went down really smooth in those hours- and a few hours after that. So we danced, played beer pong, and met a guy named Reuben who all night told me I was amazing and unreal beautiful. Kind of a creeper but I loved it- I let him keep telling me and responded, " Thanks, I appreciate it" every time. At the end of the night Ginny, Nancy, and I were the last 3 standing- apparantly I decided I'm made of money, got us a hotel room and that's where things get weird. Ginny took a bath, her pink extenions got wet and died her blonde hair pink (great thing to do right before you're wedding, huh?) Nancy was topless dancing- when I woke up this morning she informed me she had mingled with some of the neighbors when we went to sleep (still topless). We ate our share of the continental breakfast, Ginny drank them out of apple juice, I found carbs again, and Nancy licked apple sauce out of the package. Today I am DYING to say the least- it's been a rough one, I am going to spend some time with my aunt today and get my beauty rest so I am ready for the big day tomorrow.
Here's to hoping the wedding goes well- wish me luck! Hopefully things don't get as crazy as last night. Nancy and I each think the other is going to be the "drunk bridesmaid." Fingers crossed- it's not going to be me!

Qwest- You Kill Me

We've all heard this, "I didn't realize how much I used my left hand until I broke it..." or something like that- well this is me saying, "I didn't realize how much I depended on the internet until Qwest screwed up our account!" Since Megan moved out on us- we needed to change the internet service into my name. So after 20+ minutes on the phone with Qwest we had reached the following: Effective 9/4 internet service would be in my name, and 9/5 Megan's service would end. Apparantly after we figured that out they decided it would be best to move up Megan's cancellation date, therefore sending me to hell and back.

My initial reaction was that it wouldn't be that big of deal- I can check my bank balance, e-mail, and other things (Kim and Jenny's blogs) at work, if necessary. However, living without Facebook may bring me straight to death. What if someone's relationship status changed and I don't know about it? Or they change their status to "Bonfire at my house if you want to come" and I want to go? What if someone tags a picture of me and I can't see it and it is completely embarrassing but I am unable to "remove tag."

These things stress me out just to think of, so I'm just going to relax, tomorrow I leave for Ginny's wedding in the cities (should be an AMAZING weekend)- I will post pics when I get back (if Qwest getting their crap together).

Oh PS- Megan I changed my privacy on the blog so that anyone can post comments without a google account, no pressure to post one or anything, just letting you know it's an option! MISS YOU!

Oh Dear Baby Jesus

Let me start by saying I feel my sister Taylor's pain- I too endured moments like this at her age. She is going on 15 and understandably your parents can be kind of embarrassing- especially when your Dad is a hockey coach. So Saturday night I am leaving to go over to Collette's for a bon fire when Taylor pulls up along with 3 guys from the team, Megan's sister Kirstin, and the new foreign exchange hockey player- I mean foreign exchange student. Everyone goes in the house while Kirstin and I chit chat in the yard- Taylor comes running out and says, "Oh my God you have to see what Dad is doing!" So I go back inside only to find this:
Seriously- yep that's a paper with the rink drawn on it, while my Dad "assesses" how much this Slovakian kid knows about hockey plays. Then proceeds to tell him if he tries to bank a breakout pass off the boards from the corner we call that a "Two Harbors Breakaway" (which is not a good thing). Oh Dear Baby Jesus, he probably had NO CLUE what that meant- all I could do was laugh, snap this picture with my phone, and tell Taylor good luck!

Hot Off Of Facebook...

Finally I have some pics to post from Megan's wedding- the first one is me and the beautiful bride- I am seriously SOOO envious of her hair- can someone please do mine like that for Ginny's wedding?
Megan didn't toss the bouquet so I stepped up to the plate, Annie was the only one on board though:
Spending some time with Kelly was awesome- we don't do it nearly enough:
Here's me and all my favorite people- and some new friends too. Kelly is apparently comfortable grabbing Anna in front of his wife, Leah (while she just sits there looking pretty), the Canadians were there, and Meg is still looking gorgeous.
Thanks for such a fun night everyone- hopefully the Canadian Reception will be just as memorable :)
